Russians, Peas, Chips and Gravy
Ingredients
Harvestime Chips – Straight cut
2 cups Harvestime Peas
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
1 teaspoon mixed herbs
2 tablespoons Margarine
10 Russian Sausages
2 teaspoons Oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Gravy of choice for serving
Directions
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 25 minutes
Serves: 5
- Cook Harvestime chips according to package instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the sausages until browned and cooked – remove the sausages and set aside
- Wipe off excess oil and add the margarine to the pan
- Add in garlic and mixed herbs, followed by the frozen peas
- Allow to sauté for 5 - 6 minutes – stirring frequently, season and remove from the heat
- Serve the Russians with the Harvestime chips, sauteed peas and gravy on the side
