Crispy Fried Fish & Slap Chips
Ingredients
Harvestime Slap Chips
4 X Hake fillets
1 egg
½ cup flour
2 teaspoons water
2 cups breadcrumbs
Oil for frying
Directions

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
- Cook the Slap Chips according to package instructions
- Pat dry the fish fillets and season with salt and pepper
- Whisk eggs with the water until its frothy
- Place the breadcrumbs in a separate bowl
- Dip the fish in the egg wash, then the flour, followed by the bread crumbs
- Shake off any excess and set the fish aside until ready to fry
- Heat oil in a large pan and when hot start frying the fish, about 2-3 minutes per side
- Serve with Harvestime Slap Chips, mayo and tomato sauce
