Country Chicken Neck Stew
Ingredients
500 grams Harvestime Country Crop (2 x 250grams)
1 kg chicken necks
2 tablespoons Oil
1 large onion sliced
3 teaspoons crushed garlic
3 teaspoons mixed herbs
1 tablespoon curry powder of choice
2 teaspoons paprika
3 large tomatoes chopped
1 cup chicken stock
Chopped parsley
Salt and pepper
Directions
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Serves: 5
- Add oil to a large pot on medium heat and add the onions, fry until translucent
- Add the garlic, paprika and mixed herbs and mix well
- Now in with the chicken necks and fry for 5 minutes before adding the tomatoes and stock
- Season and mix well
- Allow to simmer on medium heat for about 20 minutes, add water if needed
- Add in the Country Crop veg and cook for a further 10 minutes until the veggies have softened and the necks are cooked, garnish with chopped parsley and serve
